Chris

Chris, Shirley Eye Care’s Optometric Assistant, has been in the eye care field since 2012.  He gained extensive knowledge in ocular conditions and care with his past employment experience at two large ophthalmology practices.  In November 2019, Chris successfully completed training as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant.  Chris’ role at Shirley Eye Care is to assist the doctors by preparing patients for their comprehensive eye exams.  He reviews and compiles a patient’s chief complaint and history.  He also completes preliminary testing including scans and visual fields.  When not in the office, Chris enjoys reading fiction novels, playing video games and spending time with his fiancé, Ashley, and their pet Corgi, Toby.
